You undoubtedly already know the story of the Phantom of the Opera and his obsessive love of the young ingenue, Christine. Somewhere between the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, and the Lon Chaney silent film was this 1940’s take on the classic tale. During the “Lost Years of Hollywood Horror” this telling (adapted for the Lux Radio Theater), is a bit less gore and a bit less gothic… but for Halloween, we promise not everyone will survive their encounter with The Phantom of the Opera!
